Tupu was found with his brothers dumped in a ditch
The puppy had burns all over his body
A small ice chest served as a makeshift carrier on the way to the vet clinic
He was so tiny
Clinic staff used antibiotic cream and ample amounts of dog food to begin treatment
We had to apply the cream to his tiny body twice a day
While Tupu was healing, he had to be bandaged everyday to protect his wounds
Despite his injuries, Tupu was a typical puppy and very playful
The sweetest face even while he was hurting
The burns on Tupu’s body took weeks to heal
Scars began to knit themselves along his body
Six weeks after being rescued, Tupu found his forever home with Coconut Mutts media guru Lauren Sutherland
Tupu still has his sweet face
He gets bigger everydat
He spent his first summer sailing around Seattle
He has grown into an avid Seattle Seahawks fan
And he smiles everyday
